Fighting The Winter Blues
According to experts, this is the most depressing week of the year. And yesterday actually was the most depressing day of the year. The reasons why are pretty clear. The holiday season is over, bills are starting to pour in, the weather is cold and dreary, night starts early, your summer vacation is a long ways away, and you’ve probably already caved on your New Year’s resolutions.
The best thing you can do to keep your spirits up is to go for walks during the daytime, or some sort of physical activity and eat fruit . Both of those will actually help you fight off depression. I really find that exercising helps. It may be hard to find the motivation but if you know it makes a major difference in how you feel you will find it, plus if you look good it helps to feel good too.
And look on the bright side, yesterday was the MOST depressing day and you survived!
