Gas under two dollars? If someone had told me a couple years ago when we were paying around 4 dollars a gallon, that in 2016, I'd be paying under 2 dollars a gallon for gasoline, I'd think they'd been sniffing gas fumes much too long.

But, here we are. I just filled my gas tank with the price at $1.77 a gallon. That's insane, and that's a good thing! So with all that savings cash-wise, what can we use that extra change on before the price goes back up? And it will go back up.

Here's a few of my thoughts, and I'd love you to add your own.

    Recliner

Nothing says relax like a big old comfortable recliner. I mean one of those over-sized ones with a cup holder or two and a place to put the other junk you'd need for a long evening of doing nothing.

    Home Theater System

So how's that 1978 sound system working? Is that the original dust? Time to upgrade. I heard they have these new-fangled TVs that are only a couple of inches thick!

    Fill my Refrigerator

Got a fridge in your Mancave or at the campsite? It's in need of being filled with your favorite beverage. And when I say beverage, I mean beer.

    Pay Some Bills

It really hurts to mention this, because it's not fun-spending, it's responsible-spending. The upside is, you will have extra money each month, because that bills(s) will be gone...unless you rack up that charge card again.

    Vehicle repairs

I really should replace those 2 year old windshield wipers, and it's probably a good idea to have working turn signals and two headlights versus one.
