Food-A-Bago got underway today to help CHOW fight hunger in our community.  We're  asking you to participate in filling a giant camper from Hillcrest RV Sales & Service with non-perishable food items to benefit the Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse (CHOW).  The camper is located in the Weis Market Parking Lot, 1290 Upper Front Street, Binghamton.

Monetary as well as food contributions are welcome.  Families in need face especially difficult times during the holidays. Along with colder weather and higher utility bills comes more difficulty providing children with balanced meals.  When school is out of session meals that usually are available to students are not an option.

CHOW urges people to think of items that can feed families for one or more meals.  Items needed include baby food, cereal, canned soups and vegetables.  Canned fruit is always welcome.

Wild 104 and Townsquare Media personalities are on hand throughout the day to help collect food and load the camper.  During hours when staff members are not available contributors can drop off food in blue CHOW barrels located in front of the camper.  Food-A-Bago continues through the weekend and concludes next Monday, November 12 at 10:00 A.M.

Food-A-Bago is presented by: Music for the Mission, Gary's U Pull It, Fox 40 and MY8, WIVT-TV, WBNG-TV and WBGH-TV. Listen for interviews and updates Wild 104.
