Freaky Friday – Where Did a Gynecologist Leave His Cell Phone?

Hanan Mahmoud Abdul Karim, who is 36 years old, gave birth last month in Amman, Jordan. She gave birth via a C-section. Things seemed to go fine with the surgery and birth and the doctor sewed her up. A few days later, she and the baby were discharged from the hospital and able to go home.

She was in a lot of pain but didn't realize anything was wrong until she felt something vibrating inside of her! So she went back to the hospital where another surgeon figured out what was wrong. Apparently the gynecologist who performed the C-section dropped his cell phone inside her and sewed her up with it inside of her!

The other surgeon was able to remove it and fortunately she is doing fine. The government is now investigating.

I wonder why was his cell phone in the operating room with him? Cell phones are not sterile! How didn't anyone notice what happened? This story is so crazy to me and I'm just glad that the lady and her baby are fine!
