Freaky Friday – Someone Broke Into a Car and Left a $1 Million Lottery Ticket

This story is great! I'm thinking this was karma working against the person who decided to commit this crime! Take a look at what happened.

A few weeks ago someone in Seattle smashed a window and broke into a car. There wasn't much to steal so they ended up only taking a pair of sunglasses. But lets just say that's all the thought was worth stealing, but little did they know!

After the the break in, the owners of the car started going through it to find out what all was taken. They ended up finding Powerball ticket that they bought back in February. The jackpot at the time up to $500 million, but they didn't win. And the ticket sat in their car since.

But what they didn't realize is that no one won and there was a second chance drawing.....and guess what happened...their numbers hit! Since they didn't realize no one won, they didn't know about the second chance drawing.

They only found out about it after the break in. They were very surprised and very happy after they found out they had won $1 million! They said “Well, we already popped a bottle of champagne! We’re also planning a trip to Paris and Iceland for this year. Other than that, I think we’ll just take care of our house.”

Here is the best part of the story, whoever smashed the window and broke into their car wouldn't have had to search at all for the lottery ticket because the sunglasses they stole were sitting right on top of it!
