Fun Times At The Mental Health Association’s ‘Men Who Cook’

This weekend was Men Who Cook which is a fundraiser for The Mental Health Association.

It's all local business men who are armature cooks who do the cooking I had the tough job of being a judge, Which meant I had to taste ALL of the food! There were so many really good dishes that it made my job quite difficult. Louie G was there and he and his assistant made three different times of chicken spiedies and also pulled pork.

After tasting all of the food and discussing it with the other judges we decided that our favorite was WBNG's Dave Greber's dish. It was steak that was perfectly seasoned and grilled on top of a corn relish topped with a chimichurri sauce and sprinkled with dill flavored cheese. REALLY GOOD! I will give him credit but he needs to remember who won the Celebrity Spiedie Cookoff!

Another one of my other favorites was a gluten-free city chicken on top of garlic mashed potatoes with a gluten free peanut butter chocolate chip cookie bite.

We really had a great time and it was for a great cause! Can't wait for next year!
