Netflix has released the trailer for The Fundamentals of Caring, a comedy-drama set to be released on June 24 exclusively on the streaming service. The movie stars Paul Rudd, Selena Gomez, and Craig Roberts.

The independent film, based on the Jonathan Evison novel titled The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving, premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival and is produced by David Letterman's Worldwide Pants production company. Rob Burnett, who was Letterman's executive producer on Letterman's The Late Show, directed and adapted the screenplay.

In The Fundamentals of Caring, Rudd plays a retired writer named Ben who becomes a caregiver after a personal tragedy. He's assigned to an 18-year-old named Trevor (Roberts), who suffers from muscular dystrophy. Along the way, they pick up a runaway and expecting mother named Dot (Gomez) and trio bond over their new friendship. Together, they embark on a road trip on a mission to visit the World's Deepest Pit.
