Being hung over, regardless of the day of the week, is quite possibly the worst feeling of lethargy and regret. At twenty-one, you could bounce back the next morning like nothing happened. As the years go on, the hangover seems to last so much longer and always seems to be so much worse.

Getting rid of a hangover is all you can think about once it starts to set in. Here are a few tricks to help get relief quickly.

  • Dap a little lavender oil on your temples and the back of your neck. It will help you to relax as you find out who you drunk texted the night before.
  • Drink some hot water with lemon to help restore your liver tissue that you undoubtedly destroyed at the bar with shot after shot.
  • Make yourself a smoothie to fill your empty stomach with vitamins and minerals.
  • Hydrate! Water is your best friend on a morning like this.
  • Brew ginger tea/drink ginger ale if you are feeling nauseous. Ginger is notoriously great at soothing a sick stomach.
