It's wedding season! And if you're getting married you may not be so thrilled with what researchers have found as far as marriage and weight gain.

Researchers in Switzerland have found that married people weigh an average of 4 1/2 pounds more than single people.
The odd thing about the study is they found that married people are more likely to eat organic food, unprocessed foods, and fruits and vegetables than single people. So even though they are eating healthier they're putting on more weight than somebody who is single. The research also found that married people tend to exercise a lot less which could be a key factor in all of this. So even though the married people tend to eat healthier because of their inactivity could be a reason why their pants are getting tighter. So bottom line apparently getting married makes you chubby! Just kidding 4 1/2 pounds isn't all that much. Happy wedding season!
