You don't always know if what you're doing right now is the "right" thing to do, and you'll only find out later which really, really sucks sometimes. Hindsight, you know? But let me provide for you some great advice in case you're feeling a little lost right now, thanks to Bustle.

  • No one knows anything because we're all new to this thing called our twenties and we've never been here before, so if you think you're the only person who's confused and feeling lost, I assure you that we're all confused and feeling lost right along with you.
  • You are who you spend the most time with so start getting to know yourself, start trying to love yourself, and cut yourself some slack. No one is expecting you to be perfect, so try to stop expecting that from yourself.
  • Focus on getting through it whatever that it is, whether that be college, a terrible job that you hate, or a rough family situation. It's normal to feel like there may not be a light at the end of the tunnel, but there is always something better waiting for you, so focus on getting through it. It will be okay.

What I like to remember is that my thirties will hopefully be a better version of my twenties because I will have money to spend on the fun stuff that I never had money to spend on ten years ago. It gets better, I promise!
