The 42nd Annual Grecian Festival begins June 4 and runs through Sunday, June 7 at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, One Hellenic Center, 4121 O'Hara Drive in Vestal.  Hours are through Saturday from Noon - 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from Noon - 6:00 p.m.

The festival features Greek music and dancing, a marketplace and plenty of delicious Greek food. Favorites include Gyro, Souvlaki, Greek Salad,Mousaka, Pastichio, Spanakopita, Honey Puffs and Baklava.  Sunday the special feature is a Lamb Dinner.

Steve Anastos is the coordinator of the Grecian Festival.  Steve and his family own and operate the Broadway Diner in Endwell.   Anastos reminds the public that there is plenty of parking available around the church and once again shuttle bus service will be offered from the NYSEG parking lot. Shuttle bus service is offered June 5  from 6-10, June 6 from 2-10 and June 7 from 1-6.

Anastos says weather should not be an issue.  The festival is held underneath a giant tent where people can eat, dance and listen to the music no matter if it rains or shines.  WNBF's Roger Neel will broadcast live from the festival beginning June 4 at 4:30 p.m. until Binghamton Mets baseball at 6:35 p.m.
