I think it's time I start planning a road trip to the Crater of Diamonds State Park!  I thought stuff like this only happened in the movies, but either way, this guy is one happy camper today! Pun intended!

Brandon Kalenda found a 2.89 carat diamond after only searching for about 20 minutes at Crater of Diamonds State Park in Arkansas where they clearly advertise the park's policy on diamonds is "finders, keepers."

The inspiration to go diamond hunting came from Kalenda's mother-in-law who saw the Duggar family do it in an episode of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting." The park noted this was the fourth diamond larger than a carat found just since mid-February.

Margi Jenks of Crater of Diamonds State Park wrote, "We encourage park visitors to look for pockets or layers on the surface of gravel, and search there. That's exactly what Brandon was doing. No word yet on how much it's worth but something tells us it'll be substantial. (AOL)

If I go there and find a nice diamond like that, I will surgically attach another pinky and make a nice pinky ring with the diamond!
