Hawaiian Tropic Is Saying Good Bye To Their Bikini Pageants!

This was not the news I was hoping to see first thing in the morning when I got to work.  But, as they say, all great things must come to an end. 

Hawaiian Tropic has announced that they are cancelling their Miss Hawaiian Tropic Bikini Pageants.  Hawaiian Tropic says that 70% of their customers are women, and women don't like the pageants.

Danielle Duncan from Hawaiian Tropic says, "The Miss Hawaiian Tropic Bikini Contest wasn't resonating with our target female customers."  They also plan on moving their focus from tanning oil to sun screen.

I remember when I was younger going to the local 'Video King' and getting the Miss Hawaiian Bikini Pageant on VHS.  I can't believe I just admitted that, but it's out there now!
