Here Is the Cake Tanya Made for Her Daughter’s Birthday

Last winter, Alexis and I took cake decorating class, even though I don't eat cake. Since then I've made a few cakes for my friends and decided to tackle Lexi's birthday cake this year.

It's an ombre cake. Inside the actual cakes were white cake with pink polka dots (and raspberry filling), which the girls thought was really cool and wondered how I did it...of course I said it was magic!

The end product was okay, but definitely not my best work because the frosting was a little too soft. However the most important part was that it still looked pretty and Lexi LOVED it!
