As summer winds down, we are all bummed that our beautiful tan we got will disappear too.  Tanning salons usually start getting busier in the fall and winter.

Well, if you want to keep that summer glow year round without having to live in a tanning bed then you will like this study that was done.

According to researchers in Scotland, if you want to keep your summer tan all the time, eat fruits and vegetables!  According to the study, eating carrots, sweet potatoes, broccoli, spinach, pumpkin, and melons helps keep the pigment in your skin a little yellower.

Yellow isn't tan BUT it's the key to keeping the healthy glow you get from tanning.  In the study, people who ate fruits and veggies to keep their tan going were rated more attractive than people who went to tanning beds or sat out in the sun.  ( The Telegraph)
