Holiday Quick Tip: Removing Wine Stains

Are you hosting any Holiday parties this month? I am hosting my first ever Christmas Eve Party and I have to admit that I am a bit nervous about spills and other messes. I decided to be proactive and have started looking for how to deal with anything like this that may come up. So, today’s first Holiday Quick Tip is how to remove red wine stains!
Make sure you have these items on hand:
- Paper towels
- OxiClean Versatile
- Sponge
What to do:
- Hurry! A wet stain will be much easier to deal with than a stain that has dried. Try blotting the stain with a paper towel.
- Mix the OxiClean with warm water.
- With a sponge, apply solution to the fabric. Wait 1-5 minutes. But, do not let it dry on the fabric.
- Use a new damp sponge to blot the stain to rinse. The stain should have lightened. Continue this process until the stain is no longer visible.
