If you scooped up a bunch of holiday themed Twinkies and have been treating yourself to one every couple of days to make them last, you need to stop.

Hostess has recalled the nine cake multipack limited edition Holiday White Peppermint Hostess Twinkies. The recall follows a recall earlier this week by Blommer Chocolate Company. Blommer chocolate produces the confectionery coating that was used on the holiday Twinkies and that coating contains milk powder ingredients which were produced by Valley Milk Products LLC and is may be contaminated with salmonella.

According to the FDA, an inspection of the Valley Milk Products LLC facility turned up salmonella in several places, including in 50-pound bags of Valley Milk's sweet cream buttermilk powder and high heat nonfat dry milk powder.

If you’ve got any of the contaminated holiday themed Twinkies, Hostess says you should either throw them away or return them to the store where you bought them for a full refund.

Original Twinkies are not being recalled.
