Not once, but twice last week I left my house for work and forgot my phone. Both times I didn't get too far before I realized it and turned around. I almost didn't go back because I thought it would be a nice break, but then I worried my children would need to contact me and wouldn't be able to.

We have become so reliant on our phones, that we can't go anywhere without them!

When I forgot my phone it wasn't a huge deal to turn around and go back to get it, I was only about 5-10 minutes from my house. But what if I was on a road trip?

One time my children forgot their phones when we were heading south on vacation. We were past the mall exit, so that's about 15 minutes from my house, we had to turn around and go back. That put us back about 30-45 minutes. It was annoying but not too bad.

A new survey found 78% of people would turn around if they had already been driving half an hour and 48% would turn around even if they'd been going a full hour.

This got me thinking how far I'd get and be willing to turn around. I think maybe 45 minutes. My children have phones so if I needed something I could use theirs.

How far would you get to be willing to turn around and get your phone if you forgot it?
