The fashion police are out and they have you covered for this year’s worst choices for your health. Yes, that’s right, your health! So ladies, if you’re carrying an over-sized handbag or rocking those hoop earrings you might want to rethink those accessories before you leave the house.

According to Msn, here is a list of how your fashion choices can affect your well-being:

Over-sized Handbags: They are cute and hold a lot but that’s the problem! The bigger the handbags, the more things we try to stuff in them causing tension in our shoulders, back and neck. Posture is also an issue seen in women carrying bigger bags if one shoulder is carrying more than the other.

Shoes: Just like high heels, flats and fur-lined boots can affect your feet. They do not provide a lot of support for one thing. Did you know these types of shoes can also cause tendonitis and fungus too?

Over-sized Earrings: It’s more than likely that those who wear hoop earrings have had them catch on their clothing a time or two often pulling at our earlobes and occasionally tearing. Small children are more likely to grab and pull as well. Ouch!

Skinny Jeans: Seems reasonable right? Nope! They can create numbness to the thigh caused by meralgia paresthetica.

Men's Ties: Those who don’t wash their ties after every use are more likely to catch germs. This may sound odd but touching a contaminated article of clothing such as a man’s tie can transfer germs from one person to another.
