Remember when you were a kid and you lost a tooth, you would put it under your pillow at night and hoped that the tooth fairy would come in the middle of the night and leave you something? It was usually a quarter, but maybe if you were lucky you got a dollar! Well, times have changed a little.

Apparently there's an annual 'Tooth Fairy' study and here are some of the results.

The 'Tooth Fairy' study found that kids are getting an average of $3.19 per tooth, that's actually down $.24 from last year. But, what it does mean is that your children will get about $64 for all of their baby teeth!

20% said that they get five dollars per tooth and 5% get $20 or more. The most common however for a tooth is one dollar from the 'Tooth Fairy'.

I remember with my children the 'Tooth Fairy' left ten dollars for their first tooth and I believe she left one or two dollars for every tooth after that.

How much does the tooth fairy leave at your house?
