When it comes to hitting the snooze button in the morning, I am the worst offender! I hit snooze at least 3 times in the morning. I also set at a least 3 alarms at different times every morning. I promise, I fully intend on waking up early each day but it doesn't always work out for me. With that said, I've come up with some ways to become early riser.

1. Just say "no" to the snooze button! The snooze button is not your friend! Put your phone or your alarm across the room. This way you have to get up to hit that little button. Besides, if you're already up then why not stay up?!


2. Open the curtains! A pitch black room makes it much too easy to stay asleep. Let the sun in and get a bright start to your day! This one will work in the summer months but not so much in the winter...


3. Wake up at the same time everyday but go to bed when your tired. Just listen to your body.


4. Have a purpose in the morning. For example, don't shower at night. Instead, shower in the morning. This way you know there is something that you HAVE to do. If you know you can roll out of bed and head to work or school then that's exactly what you will do...at the very last minute.

These are just a few things that I have been trying. What are your tricks for waking up early?
