How To Navigate The New York City Subway System

I love visiting New York City but I've always wasted so much money taking cabs instead of the Subway. I decided on my last trip that my taxi days were over and was determined to learn the Subway System!

My brother showed me the app Hop Stop (it's free!) and I downloaded it right away. This app is exactly what I have been looking for!

The Hop Stop app let's you input your current location followed by your destination.

This app works "live" so it alerts you when there are delays and accurately shows changes in the schedule.

You can then choose which route you would like. It includes the fare and how long it will take you using each route. It will even show you the fare for a taxi and how long it would take by foot.

Another nice feature is that it will show you where to go from the moment you get off at your stop and show you a map of where you are going.

I hope this app helps you as much as it has helped me! Why waste money on a taxi when you can get to your destination so much cheaper!
