How to Rescue Wine That’s Gone Bad [WATCH]

There's nothing more frustrating than pulling out a bottle of wine, only to find out it's gone bad. But - before you dump the wine, there's a super simple way to save it!

According to the American Chemical Society, all you need to do to bring some nasty wine gone bad back to list is to drop a penny into your glass. But, you'll want to grab an older penny, preferably one minted before 1982 because before then, pennies were made almost entirely out of copper.

Scrub the penny with soap and water, rinse it, dry it off, drop it into your glass of wine, swirl it around and then take it out with a spoon. Wine crisis averted. Whew!
