One of the most popular new year's resolutions is to get in shape. It's easy to fall off the fitness bandwagon, but, if you follow these steps you are more likely to be successful at reaching your goals.

Imagine what your body will look and feel like when you reach your goal.

Sometimes while I’m running, I’ll think about how good reaching my goal will make me feel! That gives me the extra push I need to keep going!

Progress pictures.

As you continue working out, you can also measure your progress visually by taking pictures along the way. Seeing your progress should keep you motivated!

I don’t mean someone that you can sit at the gym and talk with, I’m talking about someone who also works out hard. Then, you can talk about how hard you worked AFTER your workout!  You can also swap ideas about healthy recipes, new workouts, etc. Lastly, don’t forget to push each other to work harder!

Think of the regret you’ll feel if you don’t finish your workout.

One of my favorite quotes is “Suffer the pain of discipline or suffer the pain of regret.” This one speaks for itself, doesn’t it?!
