I love pizza so much that I think it should have it's own holiday. However, I can tell you right now that I wouldn't move to another state for a pizza. Well, at least I don't think I would move.

There are like 17 states that claim they're the best place in the country for pizza.  West Virginia isn't one of them.  UNTIL NOW.

A new study ranked the best and worst states for people who love pizza.  And coming in first is . . . West Virginia.

Now, the list isn't based on the QUALITY of the pizza, just quantity.  The rankings are exclusively on the total number of pizza places per capita, not how good or unique or artisanal the pizza is.  But still, this is America, and we REALLY value quantity.

The top 10 states for people who love pizza are:  West Virginia . . . Delaware . . . New Jersey . . . Ohio . . . Nevada . . . Rhode Island . . . Pennsylvania . . . New Hampshire . . . Massachusetts . . . and Connecticut.

The 10 WORST states for people who love pizza are:  Hawaii . . . Mississippi . . . Louisiana . . . Alabama . . . Utah . . . New Mexico . . . Texas . . . Georgia . . . Arizona . . . and California.

Those states are weirdly clustered along the bottom of the country.  So if you did a road trip straight from Georgia to California, supposedly you'd only pass through states with mediocre pizza. (Estately)

The greater Binghamton area is loaded with great pizza joints! What is your favorite pizza establishment?
