I thought this was perfect for Throwback Thursday. Things have changed so much since I was a kid. I am far from old, but the technology is crazy now.

I think back to high school when there was no internet, no cell phones, no laptops, no email, no digital cameras. Back when you had to take your film to CVS, wait for your photos and hoped they came out good.

You learned how to type on a typewriter in typing class. I could go on and on. So I thought this was an interesting Daily Mail study that was done on people born after 1988.

  • 18% of people have never written a thank you note by hand.
  • 20% have never created a physical photo album.
  • 26% have never made a homemade card.
  • 34% have never made someone a mix tape or CD.

I remember making my grandparents homemade thank you cards when they gave me gifts. We were looking at some not that long ago, they were really sweet!

I still make photo albums, although my pictures now come from my phone. And to all those who never had the chance to receive a homemade tape from the boy you had a crush on...I'm sorry! Those were the best! Especially if recorded them off the radio and sat there waiting for it to push record.

I need to go home now and get my old tapes out!
