Is the Internet the Most Important Part of Your Daily Life?

I think I have found the reason people can't find a date. They would rather make out with their computer than a real human!

A survey asked people to name the most essential items for their day-to-day life.  Excluding food and shelter of course, but everything else was fair game.

These were the top 10 responses -

1. The internet

2. Showers and baths

3. TV

4. Laptops and ipads

5. A car

6. A cell phone

7. A pet dog or cat

8. A washing machine

9. Coffee

10. Books or kindles

Can you believe that the internet beat showering?!

This same survey also found 51% of people said that they could go longer without seeing their friends than without using their phones.
