Is the New Miley Cyrus Video Too Risky?

I've been hearing a lot of controversy about the new Miley Cyrus video in the respect that it's supposedly "very risky."

I watched it and I have to admit it is a bit odd at times but considering that videos don't get attention like they used to anymore unless there is some big reason to watch them, I applaud Miley and her promotional team.

Not only is the video creative but it most certainly goes along with her new mildy badass image - she lets you know she is not the Disney star she used to be while still managing to remind us of the fun carefree Miley we have come to love and know throughout her presence in the spotlight even at a young age.

Let me know your opinion on the video below. I'm curious- too risky? Too weird? Or brilliant?
