All couples fight. In fact, it is healthy for couples to fight... depending, of course, on how they fight. Brit.Co explains how to tell if the fighting in your relationship is healthy, or not.

If you're feeling resentful, unsure or unsafe, then your relationship may have larger issues that need to be addressed. Fighting to the point of physical violence or emotional manipulation is not only harmful to the relationship at hand, it can also be detrimental to the individuals within the relationship.

The healthy medium for fighting in a relationship is when both people can learn to disagree while still respecting the other person. Conflict is healthy in a relationship, but for one argument, either person should not bring up past grievances and instead, should let bygones be bygones.

The best way to assess a relationship is to figure out how it makes you feel. If the fights that you and your partner have make you feel stronger rather than weaker as a pair in the relationship, then you may be on the right track with them.
