It is so easy to get swept up in a new relationship, and letting the pace of the relationship get a little out of hand. Bustle pointed out some ways to tell if you're relationship is moving at a healthy pace or not.
- There are a ton of starts and stops meaning that there isn't consistency in the movement of your relationship. If the pacing is off, you might want to reconsider what you are to each other... Dating? In a relationship? More? Make sure you are both comfortable with what it is that you two decide to be.
- Your partner doesn't turn to you for advice when they are dealing with a tough situation or they have concerns about the relationship. The health of your relationship could be at risk if they're not feeling close enough to you or trust you enough to come to you for advice and communication of the relationship.
- You question whether your relationship has a future which says a lot about where you are at emotionally if you are thinking about the longevity of your relationship. Losing hope and becoming complacent can spell all sorts of red flags for your partner and yourself.
Moving too quickly that you burn out, or too slowly that you never get a spark going, can spell trouble for a relationship. Think about where you want to be and communicate it to your partner.
