This Saturday is the 11th annual Chocolate and Wine Festival in Montrose, Pennsylvania. Last year, Chris and I, along with our friends Doug and Lisa, purchased tickets and went down to check out the event. It was the first time I went to that festival. We had a great time checking out all the vendors, sampling wines, sampling beers, eating awesome food, and checking out the live entertainment. We decided right then to make it an annual thing. So this Saturday the four of us will be making the short trip down I-81 again I checked out their website just to see what was going on this year.

According to the Chocolate and Wine Festival website, there will be 12 wineries, microbrews, and chocolate demos by Leopold. On the live entertainment stage, there will be music from The Woodshed Prophets, American Pinup, Komodo Lemonade, and Canary Circus. Tickets are $20 in advance and they are available online through the
end of the day today, Thursday. Tickets will be $30 at the gate and it's cash sale only. Also, make sure you bring ID with you if you go. The event is rain or shine so we will hope for good weather. If not, I can hold my wine in one hand and an umbrella in the other. For more information check out the Chocolate and Wine Festival website.
