Jay Z Invites 12-Year-Old Fan Onstage to Rap ‘Clique’

Justin is 12 years old and it’s very likely he’s already having a better year than you. The tween got a chance to share the stage with Jay Z at his Magna Carta World Tour stop in Greensboro, N.C., on Sunday (Jan. 5).

The Maryland native was holding up a sign that read, “Can I rap for you?” Jay Z obliged and allowed him to recite his verse on ‘Clique.’ Since Hov is kid-friendly, he told the fan to avoid drug references (Remember: “Hov did that, so hopefully you won’t have to go through that“) and curse words. Justin did that without issue and was met with loud cheers after he was finished.

Jay Z then asked if he could meet the kid backstage. He happily agreed, thus becoming the coolest kid of 2014.
