Johnson City Man Faces Federal Sexual Exploitation and Porn Charges

A Johnson City man is charged with sexual exploitation of a minor and distribution and receipt of child pornography.

Federal prosecutors say 46 year old Michael Rushmer was arrested at his home March 14 by the FBI and Johnson City Police.

If convicted, Rushmer could face up to 30 years in prison for the sexual exploitation of a child charge.

He could get five to 20 years in prison for each count of receipt and distribution of child pornography.

He is being held without bail pending trial.
