A reporter and author plans to talk about the business connections between IBM's Thomas Watson and Nazi Germany in a presentation at Binghamton University.

Edwin Black's 2001 book "IBM and the Holocaust" described a "strategic alliance" involving the company that regards Endicott as its birthplace.

Black is scheduled to speak on the topic Monday at the Lecture Hall Building on the university's Vestal campus. The talk is entitled "How Thomas J. Watson & IBM Co-Planned and Organized the Holocaust." It's scheduled to start at 5 p.m.

Black will be presenting a series of talks on various topics during the week at Binghamton University and at SUNY Broome Community College in the town of Dickinson.
