Judges on ‘Jeopardy’ Ruled A Correct Answer Was Incorrect Because Of The Contestant’s Accent

Some Jeopardy fans are upset over a correct answer that was ruled incorrect because the contestant had a foreign accent!

The contestant, Fidelito Cortes was trying to come up with the name of Julia Louis-Dreyfus's character on 'Seinfeld'.

It sounded to me like he said Elaine.  But, because of his accent, the judges ruled he said something else.
