Justin Bieber dropped the ultimate bombshell during a stop at radio station Power 106 FM this morning. "After this album, uh, I'm retiring," he told the hosts, who jumped back in surprise at the news. One even shouted "No!"

Though the Biebs made the announcement completely nonchalantly and with a straight face, it is entirely likely that he was just joking around. After all, this is Justin Bieber, king of the practical joke.

E! News reports that Bieber's reps have no comment, but an insider denied that the 19-year-old singer would be leaving the spotlight so soon.

"Of course it's not true," the source told the site.

We guess only time will tell: 'Journals,' Bieber's newest album, drops Sunday, Dec. 22, at midnight. Will it be over for the Biebs after that? Stay tuned.

Watch the interview clip below, and tell us what you think, PopCrushers and Beliebers. Will Justin really retire from music, or was he just kidding?
