On Saturday, May 12th, more than 60 local veterans will depart from the Greater Binghamton Airport to visit Washington, D.C. through the Twin Tier Honor Flight and will spend the day being honored for their service, and visiting their memorial(s).

So many of these veterans never received the homecoming they deserved after fighting in the war, so we want to make this homecoming extra special. Once they return to Binghamton from their day in Washington DC, "Mail Call" will be conducted just as was done when they were active duty. The name of each veteran will be called and he will be handed a bundle of mail.  Letters from home, letters from friends and family even letters from a stranger, sending love and thanking them for their service.

If you'd like to participate, this is the last call for "Mail Call." All correspondence needs to be received by Friday, April 13th.  If you write, please remember to keep your note lighthearted and filled with thanks. Please refrain from including political opinions and please do not date your mail.

There are two ways for you to submit your mail call:

By mail (must be received by this Friday, April 13th):
Townsquare Media Binghamton
Attn: Traci Taylor
59 Court Street
Binghamton, NY 13905

In person:
Drop off your mail call Monday-Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Townsquare Media Binghamton, 59 Court Street in Binghamton. Again, we need all pieces of mail call by this Friday, April 13th.
