Lay’s Just Announced the ‘Do Us a Flavor’ Winners

For the last few years Lay's has been doing a contest where people can send in their ideas for potato chip flavor they would like to see come to life. And usually there are some pretty crazy flavors that are submitted! Well Lay's just announced this year's four new flavors they picked after people submitted flavors and you can vote on which one is your favorite. And the winner will receive $1 million!

In 2013 the picks were Sriracha, Cheesy Garlic Bread, and Chicken and Waffles. The winner that year was Cheesy Garlic Bread. Which I have to say wasn't my favorite because it just tasted very buttery. The picks for 2014 were Bacon Mac & Cheese, Wasabi Ginger, Mango Salsa, and Cappuccino. The winner that year was the Wasabi Ginger and I have to say that is one of my favorite chips of all time!

So Lay's just announced the new flavors they'll be selling this year and you can actually vote for which one you think should win the million dollar prize. The flavors are Southern Biscuits and Gravy, Greektown Gyro, New York Ruben, and Truffle Fries. This years flavors will go on sale next week and will be in stores through October 18th. We will be buying all four flavors and trying them. I think the Greektown Gyro sounds pretty good and can't wait to try them.

I'm very disappointed however, because we submitted seven flavors and I think our flavors were better and should've been chosen! I guess I'll have to wait until next year and resubmit them.
