Leaving Your Shopping Cart In The Diagonal Stripes Next To Handicapped Parking Spots IS A Big Deal!

I don't want to say this is a pet peeve of mine, but it is a bigger deal than we think.  I truly think that when we do stuff like this, it is just because we don't think about it.  Well, I am here to remind you that it really is a big deal and the diagonal stripes are there for a reason!

We see it all the time...people leaving their carts in the diagonal stripes next to the handicapped spots.  I get it, we are all in a hurry and have busy schedules.  But, these diagonal stripes are there for a reason.  They are there to be used as access paths for handicapped vehicles with ramps.  This becomes an inconvenience and hassle for the vehicles and people that they are designed to help.
