Louie G’s DIY Project – Phase Two

After searching on-line for a custom made Italy themed Corn Hole Game Board set, I decided to tackle the project of making a set. To buy a set would cost up towards $200!

The issue was that I am not a handy person at all and up until I got married I never even picked up a hammer. But, making this simple game board has been extremely fun. I have always envied people who were good at carpentry and wood working.

I constructed the frame and top in of the board with the hole in phase one. Phase two is putting the legs on. This was easily the hardest part of the project. But, after a couple mistakes and a black eye, I think I have them perfect.

I was surveying the legs on the board and one of them dropped on my eye. I did learn a valuable lesson that no matter what, always wear protective eye wear.

The next phase is to sand the board to make it nice and smooth, prime it and then paint it. If you have ever thought about making a set of these corn hole game boards, let me just say that if I can do it....ANYONE CAN!
