I recently told you about my attempt to making my own set of corn hole game boards. After searching on line for a custom set of Italy themed corn hole boards, I decided to save the $200 it would have cost to buy them, and make them myself.

Since I married into a family of carpenters, I figured if I had any questions I could just make a phone call. This is also the perfect project to start on because it is not super difficult to do.

If you search anywhere on line you can find directions on how to easily make a set of corn hole board games. The hard part for me would be painting the boards. Making the boards wasn't too hard, but I did run into a couple issues that I was able to work out.

I did get the boards finished, and the first coat of paint on them. You can check out the picture. Also, I used the leftover wood to make a mini set of corn hole game boards. These are perfect to take to the beach and are very light and easy to carry.

Stay tuned. I will post the final picture in the next day or so. Someone recently asked me what the big deal about these boards is. The reason this is a big deal is because I NEVER picked up a hammer until I started this project. I am not handy or crafty. So, if I can do it, anyone can!
