Louie G’s Throwback Thursday-Cooking Hot Dogs

With the Independence Day holiday weekend coming up, I thought I would post this Throwback Thursday photo for you to laugh at.

When I first started in the radio business, I would do just about anything that was asked of me....that included being the opening act for the Chippendale male dancers. There was a little confusion as to why all the women were screaming, but it was fun anyway.

This week's throwback Thursday photo was taken outside of the radio station I worked at in Endwell back in the mid-1990's. The morning show at the time asked me to set up a little stand to give out hot dogs on a July 4th holiday.

Part of the attraction must have been the ridiculous looking hat I was made to wear. But, Louie G's weenie roast was a big hit.
