Professional golf has been a big part of this community for years. It started off as the B.C. Open and several years back it changed over to the Dick's Sporting Goods Open. The B.C. Open was a PGA Tour event. Now, the Dick's Sporting Goods Open is a Champion's Tour event.

Entertainment has always held a place at the event over the years. I remember when Air Supply and Chuck Mangione were the headliners for the B.C. Open.

Since switching over to the Dick's Sporting Goods open, they have stepped up their choice for the Friday Night Concerts. My Throwback Thursday photo is with the band Train. They were the headliner at the Dick's Sporting Goods Open a few years back in 2012.
