On the field, you will not find too many Major League Baseball players who are better! Pete Rose led Major League Baseball in hits, singles, and games played to name a few. Off the field, well we all know about those problems.

According to the New York Times Pete Rose has submitted a new request to be reinstated to baseball, said the new commissioner, Rob Manfred. Rose, who agreed to a lifetime ban in August 1989.

I met Pete Rose a few years back while vacationing in Las Vegas. It was very cool meeting him! He is a nice guy.
