Minor Flooding Expected in the Twin Tiers

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for the Susquehanna River At Conklin, the Susquehanna River At Vestal, the Tioughnioga River at Cortland, the West Branch of the Delaware River at Walton and the Chenango River At Sherburne through the weekend.

Broome County Emergency Services did not report significant underpass or other urban flooding into Friday morning, cautioned downpours and thunder storms could quickly cause flooding in poor drainage areas. Do not drive over flooded roads, underpasses or bridges.
