‘Mockingjay: Part 1′ Had the Biggest Opening of the Year

The kids and I went to see 'Mockingjay: Part 1' on Friday and it certainly didn't disappoint! We love the 'Hunger Games' series so of course we had to be there opening night and it looks like we aren't alone because it had the biggest opening of the year! In it's opening day alone, this movie brought in over $123 million! However compared to the other films in this franchise, 'Part 1' didn't do as well. 'The Hunger Games' opened with $153 million in 2012 and last year's 'Catching Fire' made $158 million. I wonder why the third installment, stalled?
