Nathan Followill, the drummer for the rock band Kings of Leon, was reportedly injured last night, Aug. 9, following an accident that involved the group's tour bus.

Rolling Stone reports that the Followill suffered broken ribs as a result of the bus stopping short to avoid hitting a pedestrian.

On the band's Facebook page, representatives for KOL posted the following statement:

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to an accident on their tour bus, Kings of Leon will unfortunately have to postpone tonight’s show in Saratoga Springs, NY. The band was en route to their hotel after their show in Boston when a pedestrian jumped in front of their tour bus, causing the bus to stop short, injuring Nathan Followill.

Nathan is being treated for broken ribs, but is doing well. The band will postpone the show that was planned for TONIGHT, August 10th, until further notice.

Kings of Leon, best known for their hits 'Sex on Fire' and 'Use Somebody,' are currently in the middle of their 2014 Mechanical Bull Tour.
