It's official, Barbz -- things are about to get real. Nicki Minaj is set to star in not one, not two, but three reality specials this November.

On Thursday (Sept. 27), E! confirmed that the 29-year-old rapper had inked a deal with the network for the behind-the-scenes look at her life. Contrary to swirling rumors, Minaj will not have a long-run reality series, but, in fact, will allow fans into her world with three separate one-off shows.

“I find that the more people see is the more they understand, and then it’s the more they like you sometimes,” Minaj said. ”If you only have such one-dimensional things to go off of, like rumors and stuff on blogs, you kind of never get to know the artist. And then sometimes when you pull them in your world, they see you as a real person.”

Details of the "trilogy of specials" are under wraps, but the network says more info will be released soon. Minaj joins the 'American Idol' judges panel next season, and filming for her reality show has already begun, so fans could be in for a backstage look at her involvement on the hit show.

This isn't the first time the superstar has let cameras into her hectic life. In 2010, the Queens native opened the door for MTV for her special, 'My Time Now.'
