No Major Flooding Is Expected in the Twin Tiers
Bob Joseph/WNBF News [file][/caption]Officials are keeping an eye on waterways in the Twin Tiers after recent rain, snow and melting ice caused river levels to rise.
The main stem rivers are generally just below flood stage with the water levels expected to continue to drop with no significant additional precipitation in the forecast for several days.
Hickories Park in Owego, however, has been closed due to flooding at the entrance to the grounds.
