This is such a heartwarming story that shows there are many good people still out there. A store called the police to report that a woman had shoplifted and when the officer responds he finds out she's homeless and what he does next will warm your heart.

Sarah Robinson is a woman who got busted for shoplifting $300 worth of stuff from the store in Kansas last week. So the store called the police and Officer Mark Engravalle was the one who responded to the call. When the officer got there he started talking to Sarah and found out that she's been homeless since her husband passed away back in 2011.

She has six children and the items that she was trying to steal were baby wipes, diapers, and clothes. The officer had to give her a citation for shoplifting but then he did something truly kind and amazing. He took out his wallet and paid for the items that she needed. Not only that but he found out that her children were walking around barefoot so he bought them all shoes. A local radio station in Kansas City heard about the story and they were able to raise more than $6000 to help her and her family out. And another local radio station is doing a clothing drive.

The story just really made me feel good. I can't imagine what that mother was going through after losing her husband and then not being able to provide for her children. I love how the officer, radio stations and the community stood up to help her.
